Ms.
Yoly Ong
Ma. Yolanda V. Ong is
currently Group Chairperson of Campaigns & Grey and 6
affiliate companies: Campaigns PR, Inc.(CAPRI), Camp Apple,
Campaigns Cebu, Neuron, Campaigns Social Response (CSR), and
Bacon Brand Activation.
While the Campaigns group
continues to grow, instilling corporate social
responsibility in the private sector remains a personal
mission.
Yoly has added to her roster
of achievements. This year she is Chairman of the 20th
Advertising Congress and was last year's Chairman of the
Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies-Phils.
(4As-P). Just recently she received the CEO Excel Award
from the IABC. She is also one of the ten "Woman of the
World 2006" awardees of Marie Claire Magazine.
In 2004 Yoly was a Finalist
for Socially Responsible Entrepreneur in the first
Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
In 2002 she earned her
degree in Masters in Public Administration (major in
Leadership) from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard
University. She garnered the prestigious Lucius Littauer
Award for leadership and academic excellence, one of 12
awardees from a population of 240 international students.
She was also simultaneously granted the Mason Fellows Award,
one of only three who received both honors.
Also in 2002 the Advertising
business honored her with the Industry Maverick Award and
the Creative Guild Lifetime Achievement Award. The UP Alumni
Association also named her Outstanding Professional in Mass
Communications.
Married with two sons, she
graduated from the University of the Philippines with a
degree in AB Journalism.
Her trademark passion for
excellence, innovation, diligence and determination has not
waned. As Yoly always says, “let’s try to leave this world
a better place than when we found it.”
Atty. Adel Tamano
Atty. Adel Tamano is the
spokesman for the Genuine Opposition, University President
of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and partner of
Kapunan Tamano Villadolid & Associates. He is a licensed
lawyer.
He majored in A.B. Economics
at the Ateneo de Manila University where he also took his
Juris Doctor. He studied Master of Public Administration,
with a concentration in Judicial Governance and Reform at
the University of the Philippines. In 2005, he received his
Master of Laws at the Harvard Law School, where he was a
Graduate Program Scholar and Islamic Legal Studies Program
Scholar.
He received the 2007 UP
NCPAG Distinguished Alumni Award and is a lecturer at the
Ateneo de Manila University, Far Eastern University and
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
Mr.
Butch Abad
Rep. Butch Abad, a former
member of the House of Representatives was elected in 1987
representing the Lone District of Batanes. He was re-elected
in 1995, 1998 and 2001. He served as Secretary of Agrarian
Reform during the Aquino Administration.
Abad finished Bachelor of Science in Business Management,
and Bachelor of Laws at the Ateneo de Manila University and
passed the Bar Examination in 1985. A fellow of the Edward
Mason Program in Public Policy and Management at the Kennedy
School of Government in Harvard University in Cambridge,
Massachusetts, Abad also holds a Masters in Public
Administration degree.
Abad was a union organizer/trainer, research director of the
Ateneo Center for Social Policy and Public Affairs, and a
legal and management consultant to different local and
foreign foundations. He was also the chairperson of the
Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats.
Mr. Rolando Tanabe Averilla
Mr.
Rolando Averilla is the Chief of Staff—Operations for the
Office of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and a teaching associate
at the Asian Institute of Management. He received his degree
in Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Management of
Financial Institutions from the La Salle University and his
Master in Business Management from the Asian Institute of
Management. He is a candidate for Doctor of Philosophy,
Major in Social and Organizational Psychology at the Ateneo
De Manila University.

Mr. Samuel Santos
Media Relations
Consultant, Liberal Party of the Philippines
Director, Print Media Services, Senate of the Philippines
Mr. Santos is the Media
Relations Consultant of the Liberal Party of the Philippines
and a Contributing Writer for Liberal Philippines, a
quarterly magazine of the Liberal organizations in the
Philippines. In the government he is the Director of the
Print Media Services of the Senate of the Philippines. He
has a vast working experience as a journalist prior to his
entry to government service in 2004. He has served in
various capacities as editor, researcher, reporter and
correspondent for the major dailies such as, The Philippine
Star (a national daily), the Philippine Daily Inquirer (a
national daily), Arab News, Saudi Gazette, Philippine Daily
Globe, Manila Chronicle and the Manila Standard. He also
served as Executive Director of a media NGO, the Policy
Review and Editorial Services (PRESS). He graduated from
Ateneo de Zamboanga with a Bachelor degree in Mass
Communications. He participated in the 2nd CALD
Communications Workshop in Phnom Penh last year, 2004.
Ms.
Adela Santa Cruz-Espina
Managing Editor, The Liberal (Official Publication of the
Liberal Party)
Ms. Adela Espina is a
freelance writer and public relations practitioner. She is
currently a media consultant for the Liberal Party of the
Philippines (LP) National Headquarters and managing editor
of The Liberal, the official publication of the Party. She
is a freelance public relations and corporate communications
consultant to various companies and organizations, but has
recently registered a private company, Writeshop Editorial
and Publishing Services Corp. Among her many previous
stints in media, she served as the online editor and website
administrator of the Philippine Star Online Edition and day
desk editor / copy editor of the Philippine Times Journal.
She received her education from the University of Santo
Tomas with an Industrial Engineering degree.
